A consultation appointment, is an appointment booked with me to discuss your project, take measurements pricing, and to go over details regarding your desired tattoo.
Consultations are free of charge and normally take about 30 minutes. Bring any reference material that can help explain your idea better. Also I won’t take project where you ask me to copy a tattoo you saw online. References are only to explain the style, colours, placement that you want.

Deposits are required to book a tattoo appointment. Depending on the size of your project it can range from 40 to 200$ CAN
If your tattoo requires multiple sessions, the deposit will be taken out the last session.

What does your booking look like?
Currently, I tattoo one month on/ on month off. This schedule is to accommodate my other job at sea. If you plan on doing a bigger project. I can book generally 2 sessions during my month on.
I will be booking for a period of 5 to 6 months, so when theses spots are full, you’ll have to wait for the next booking period to schedule an appointment.
Appointment priority for new booking period will always be clients with ongoing projects.
When you need to reschedule an appointment, I will try to give you the closest possible available date. Sometimes that can be in a couple months, due to my busy schedule.
I will update my Instagram, Facebook page and newsletter periodically for new openings or bookings. Keep your eyes open for updates.
What kind of payment do you take?
Cash is king. I will also only take E-transfer if they are made and received before you leave the shop. I DON’T DO CREDIT
If you can’t afford your tattoo, reschedule, ahead of time. Or else you will lose your deposit and I might not want to work with you in the future.
Is it ok to get tattooed if I am feeling under the weather?
If you are not feeling well, let me know as soon as you can so we can reschedule.
Coming to your appointment when you are sick, puts me and other clients at risk and will not be optimal for healing your tattoo.
Do you do free touch-ups?
Touch-ups are free for my work within a 3 months post tattoo period. If no appointments are available at that time, I will book you in the next available slot without charge.
If you didn’t follow the proper aftercare recommendations, or your tattoo is located on a finger or a place that has been mentioned to not heal well at all time, touch-ups won’t be free.
If you don’t show up to your touch-up appointment or reschedule last-minute, the next appointment will be charged as a normal appointment.
How long do I have to wait between tattoo sessions?
A minimum of 2 weeks is recommended to continue a tattoo on a same spot. Depending on the person, healing can take more time and a longer period might be required. Let me know before your appointment if you feel your tattoo is not ready yet.
If you are travelling to get tattooed, sometimes when can do 2 sessions in 2 days. That will require a lot of pain tolerance and motivation. Make sure you are up for it before you book.
What if I don’t show-up or I am late to my appointment?
Please make sure you do not no-show for an appointment. Give me the proper notice if you need to cancel.
If you know you are going to be late, please notify me to make sure that I will still be available to tattoo you when you arrive. I might have another tattoo scheduled after you and won’t have time to do yours.
Please be respectful of my time as I will be of yours.
Lack of consideration for your appointment’s time or no-show will forfeit your deposit and I might not want to work with you in the future.
How long have you been tattooing?
I started tattooing in 1999 and you can also look at my work in the Portfolio section of the website.

I cannot guarantee not having an allergic reaction to the tattoo ink and/or material used during your tattoo.
Checking with your doctor before coming in would be suggested if you are known to having allergic reactions.

Normally I am able to show you the design a day in advance.
You need to book an appointment to get a drawing done.
I will sometime freehand some tattoos or parts of it directly on you so it fits better with the shape of the body. That you will be able to see in the mirror before we start.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
I recommend having a good night sleep and not drink the night before.
Do not come on an empty stomach, have a good breakfast and pack some snacks/drinks if you feel you are going to need it.
Dress so you are comfortable getting tattooed and with clothes that can be damage from ink. If you are getting a chest or a leg tattooed for example, wear or bring clothes makes tattooing that body part easier.
You can bring headphones and listen to music or a podcast while you are getting tattooed, I do not mind.
How do I take care of my new tattoo?
Keep the bandage a minimum of 3 hours, sometimes you can leave it overnight.
Make sure you clean it thoroughly with mild soap and water when you remove the bandage. Pat it dry with a clean towel.
I you are putting a second skin on, I recommend putting it the next day as it will have had time to ooze in your bandage.
Make sure you clean you hands before touching your tattoo.
Avoid coming in contact with pet hair or touching dirty surfaces during the healing period.
No swimming until the last scab has come off and the skin is healed, that normally takes from 10 days to 2 weeks.
If you go to the gym, wear clothes that prevent contact with equipment to avoid infection. Also avoid work out the body part you just got tattooed for a few days.
No sun for a month, you can’t put sunscreen on a healing tattoo. If you are getting tattooed in the Summer months, make sure your tattoo is covered by clothing.
Do no pick the scabs of your tattoos, let them fall naturally, as it could cause infection and damage to the final result.
If you are not using a Second skin for healing, just keep your tattoo clean, dry and in a few days after the sessions, you can put an unscented skin moisturizer to sooth the dryness and itchiness.
Do not submerge your tattoo in water while healing.
You normally do not need to used ointments unless you feel a part of your tattoo is not healing as well as others. This could be the case sometimes in the ditch area, as it is solicited a lot in the movements while healing.
If you have any questions regarding the healing aftercare or process, send me a message and I will be happy to assist you. You can always send me a picture of your healing tattoo to explain your concern or question.
What style do you specialize in?
I mostly do Traditional American with a twist, Folk ornamental, Polynesian inspired black work and Japanese themed tattoos.
What if I change my mind on what I want after the consultation?
Make sure you give me good enough notice and that you gave all the necessary information during the consultation appointment or through email.
If you need to do a major change to your tattoo once it is drawn and it is something that has not been discussed prior, I will take a new deposit to redo the drawing.
